I took my Hasselblad 501cm and my Olympus OM-1 to Portland, Maine the weekend before last. The OM-1 was loaded with Fuji Provia 100, which I'm still shooting - 36 exposures takes me forever to shoot. For the Hasselblad I had Fuji Provia and Astia, plus a roll of Fuji Neopan Acros 100 black and white film.
It was a beautiful Saturday morning when I left the hotel. My first stop was the lighthouse known as Bug Light. Followed by a random stop to shoot this cool dog wheatpaste on a house.
Then I headed straight to Old Port and waited for the sun to set. This involved shopping for dog toys - I brought "Larry the Lobster" home for Chloe - and having a couple beers at Gritty McDuff's. They have the most amazing IPA there. I actually bought a 12-pack to share with my landlord.
Sunset came early (4:20) and after finishing off the Astia I shot a roll of Provia and one of Acros. Here are almost a dozen photos from the trip.
